Ceiling Radiation dampers, also known as "Fire" dampers, are designed and tested to limit the radiant heat transfer through an air inlet/outlet opening in the ceiling membrane of a fire resistance rated floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assembly.

Application
Model C-SR-WTP is a UL Classified Ceiling Fire Damper that is UL listed for installation in wood truss floor/ceiling and roof/ceiling designs L546, L558, L574, L585, M520, P533, P538, P545, P547 and P559 as detailed in the UI Fire Resistance Directory and are similar to fire resistance rated ceiling construction described in the International Building Code.
